Genelia denies relationship with Riteish Deshmukh

Genelia D'Souza, one of the most wanted actresses in Indian film industry after the back to back success of Bommarilu, Santhosh Subramanyam and Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na has denied reports of any relationship with Riteish Deshmukh.Remember, she had teamed up with the actor for her debut film in Hindi Tujhe Meri Kasam. Later there were many rumours about them. The recent one was that both had married secretly against the wishes of their parents.But the cute girl has completely denied all their rumours and reports about her affair with the actor.She commented, "I'm very much single. Riteish is my friend. That's all. Actually I don't have time for romance in real life with anyone. It is all happening in reel life only. I've no idea where these rumours emerge from Deshmukh is my close friend and we both are very busy in films.

When we occasionally meet up, we normally speaking about our films and career."I haven't planned anything in my life. She’s come a long way but she still takes time out for a game of soccer at D’Monte Park on Turner Road, Bandra, when she gets the time.

One hit film down and with another on the floor, Genelia D’Souza is currently busy shooting It’s My Life opposite Harman Baweja. And has Cupid’s arrow struck this “sorted out” Leo? “I’ve got no time for love. Doesn’t that sound cliched? Ha-ha... But really, I’m not anti-romance or anything but I really cannot be getting into any relationships now,” she says.

Your performance in Bommarillu was the best so far..how could a Girl from England connects so well to typical Andhra family..bubbly girl.. ???
Genelia D'Souza : Well I guess it's because I am from England but myIndian roots are extremely strong.


Are you from Goa and is your mother-tongue Konkani?
Genelia D'Souza : I am from Mangalore and my mother tongue is Konkani


Which is ur best shot in ur life and why?
Genelia D'Souza : I think the best is yet to come.


R u saying good bye to Tamil Movies?
Genelia D'Souza : No. I could never say good bye to Tamil films or the Tamil industry. I enjoy a fantastic working relationship with all my co-stars, technicians and the units. In fact, I am looking forward to my next Tamil film.


How do you feel to be a actress in Hindi Movies???
Genelia D'Souza : I think I am already an actress in Hindi movies though I have to wait and see how far I can go.

Are you happy working in film industry?
Genelia D'Souza : My first impression of the film industry was that it was a big bad world. But today I can't think of another career option. I believe this industry is as professional as any other, and it treats you exactly how you want to be treated. So my experience has been extremely exciting.


Your first movie in lead road?it must be a south movie ???
Genelia D'Souza : Not really. My first movie was in Hindi. It was called Tujhe Meri Kasam which released in 2003. I also debuted in Tamil and Telugu the same year.


If you would have been given a chance to work either with Amir or Imran khan. What would you choose?
Genelia D'Souza : I don't find it necessary to choose. In fact I have been lucky to get a chance to work with both Aamir (producer) and Imran in Jaane Tu.


Tell me sumthing bout ur educational background and y u selected acting as a career ??
Genelia D'Souza : I have done my bachelor in management studies. I genuinely didn't think of acting as a career. It is something that came my way and I am glad it did.

Do u think AK is no 1 in film industry??
Genelia D'Souza : I don't know about the number game but I definitely know that Aamir is an actor that has always given us variety and having got the privilege to work with him, I would only say that whatever he does, he does with total dedication and that is one of the reasons why he is so respected.
